Howe, Gary L.Gary Lynn Howe, 74, Green Bay, died February 26, 2017 at a local hospital. He was born on September 22, 1942, in Peoria, IL, son of the late Basil and Wilma (Brooks) Howe. He graduated from high school in Canton, IL, and following served his country in the United States Air Force from 1960-1980 as a Tech Sgt. He faithfully served his country for 20 years, and was stationed throughout the world. In 1964, while stationed in Newfoundland, Canada, he married Gloria Sheppard. They had two boys, Craig and Derek. He later moved to Green Bay, where he worked for Clark Oil and Refining for 19 ½ years. Gary loved fishing, motorcycles, and racing snowmobiles in Alaska. He was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans in Green Bay, Post 177. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Gloria; son, Derek; grandson, Logan; 3 sisters: Shirley Linsey, Janet (Morris) Bloomfield, and Beverly Loos, all of Peoria, IL; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Craig. Family and friends may visit Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E.
