Gary Eugene HartAGE: 67 • Whitehouse StationGary Eugene Hart, age 67, of Whitehouse Station, NJ passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at home.He was born on January 8, 1949 in Princeton, NJ. Gary spent his childhood in Raritan, NJ, and then he moved to Neshanic, NJ and in 1999 moved to Whitehouse Station, NJ. Gary was the son of the late Clare Eugene and Gwendolyn Elizabeth Liedum Hart.He was the husband of Esther Daniel Hart, celebrating 47 years of marriage.He was a US Navy Veteran, serving from 1969 to 1971.Gary co-owned and operated C & G Excavating in Hillsborough, NJ until his retirement in the late 1990's.He was a member of the NRA and the American Trap Shooting Association.Gary loved trap shooting and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors in addition to his loving wife include one son; Kenneth Hart and his wife Kristin of Lebanon, NJ. One grandson; Kain Hart. One sister; Sharon Knox and her husband Kevin of San Diego, CA. Two brothers; Ronald Hart of Asbury, NJ and Dennis Hart of NV.Predeceased by his sister-in-law; Vera 'Lynnie' Hart who passed away in May of 2016. At Gary's request, all services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
