Gary R. AnshutzZANESVILLE: Gary R. Anshutz, 71 of Zanesville died at 1:45 PM Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.He was born on August 27, 1944 in Martin's Ferry, Ohio the son of Raymond Anshutz and Freda (White) Anshutz Mercer.Gary was Assistant Manager for Big Bear early in life and then had a career in tire sales and service with Goss Bros. Tire and later with Southeast Tire. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles and was very passionate about woodworking and gardening. He is survived by two daughters; Deanne "Dee" (Scott) Hiles of Zanesville and Amanda "Mandy" (Justin) Culbertson of Newark; Four grandchildren, Beau Hiles, Katie, Alex, and Carly Culbertson; a brother, Marvin (Donna Pernick) Anshutz of Hopedale, and several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Mary A. (Jalbrzikowski) Anshutz, a sister Rayma Jean Parr, and an infant brother Myrle Anshutz.Friends may call 4:00 pm -7:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where the Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
