Ganna P. Anikyeyeva, 59, of Leland, passed away on May 19, 2015. She was the beloved wife of James Lane Cox Jr. They would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on June 4. She was born on August 17, 1955 in Azerbaijan to Vera Anikyeyeva and the late Pavel Anikyeyev.Ganna worked as a teller in the banking industry for many years and was a member St. Basil The Great Orthodox Greek Church.She was the loving mother of Inga Andiriiyko and her husband Andrew, Kelly Renee Robbins and her husband Scott, and James Lane "Tripp" Cox III and his partner Mary Anita Morgan; cherished grandmother of Ganna and Alexandra Andriiyko and Scarlett and Averry Robbins; and caring sister of Vistor Anikieier and a niece and nephew.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2015 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington.Orthodox funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Basil The Great Orthodox Church, 2166 Kent Street, Wilmington. Burial will follow at Saints Mary and Martha Monastery Cemetery, 65 Spinner Lane, Wagener, SC.Condolences to the family may be offered at Coblewardsmithwilmington.com.
