The Fabulous Gabby will forever be missed

In Loving Memory of

Gabriella "Gabby" Mackie

May 18, 2012 - November 3, 2025

With tears and heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved Gabby has gone to doggy heaven.

Born on May 18th, 2012, Gabby was a fabulous diva who loved wearing pretty dresses and knew she was the belle of the ball. She brought endless joy to everyone who knew her - even strangers wanted to take pictures and hugs from our little superstar!

Gabby was incredibly human-like, strong-willed, and full of character. When she went on walks, she didn't follow - she led the way! Her passion in life was food — plain and simple. She was serious about her "human food," and those big black eyes could melt anyone's willpower until they shared a delicious bite from their plate. She always demanded what she wanted - and rewarded you with a snuggle or a sweet little lick in return.

Her favorite chef was Sparkles. Gabs spent countless hours in the kitchen, neck tilted and eyes locked, staring longingly as Sparkles cooked - hoping she'd drop a morsel. Sparkles' food truly tantalized her soul.

Gabby chose me the day I met her biological fur mom and her siblings. She wandered over from the litter and sniffed me — and in that moment, I knew we had found each other. I went home thinking about the "runt of the litter," returned the next day, and brought my beautiful dogter home. From that day forward, she was embraced by my entire family - and loved deeply by extended family and friends including Shantae, Papa, Chef Armani, Cheryl, Poochie and so many others blessed by her light over 13 incredible years. Her entire community will miss seeing the lovely Purple-Eared Dog that brought smiles wherever she went.

She leaves behind her devoted sisters Velvet and Samya, her brothers Seth, & TJ. Cousins -Maxine, Giovani, CJ, David and Maddie. And her Grandpa Coy and Uncle Evan.

Gabby adored her fur cousin and best friend Charlie, who she helped raise when Auntie Raquele brought him home. They were inseparable - and she proudly taught him how to be the Prince of the kingdom.

She absolutely adored playing and countless hours of napping, wrestling and guarding her food with her fur cousins Charlie, Lulu, and Cosmo. They were a fun loving trio and loved spending time together enjoying birthdays and holidays.

Jack, Bougie Lemon, Chinky Blanco, and Jiggy didn't see her as much but will miss their beloved Gabby dearly.

Her human aunties Raquele, Jonette, Sparkles, and Diane will forever keep her memory alive. Auntie Rocki, Uncle Richie, and Jez were truly her second family — a home where her heart always rested.

Auntie Rocki has to be acknowledged as her second mom she did everything for her first fur baby. And will always hold a special place in Gabby's heart!

And then, there was Walter - the love of her life. .She adored her Poppa and went on long walks with her hero. When danger ever appeared, like the day they met a coyote, he stood bravely by her side - and she knew she was safe in his care.

As for me, her Mom — Gabs was and always will be my other half. We often dressed alike and shared the same color hair. We dined at fine restaurants shopped at exquisite stores and strolled through neighborhoods to gift everyone with a little love and light. People would smile and take pictures of my fabulous pooch and Gabbs absolutely adored the love. She was a super star and I know she is in heaven being her over the top self. Barking at dogs and trying to become a human in a new life lol. She really didn't know she was a dog!

Gabby was my road diva, my ride-or-die, my partner in crime, and my darling dogter. There will never be another Gabriella "Gabby" Mackie. She is one of a kind! My heart is broken!

Gabby, please give kisses to Queenie, Nana, Vanessa, Mommy, Daddy, Ma and Audi, when you see them over the rainbow — in the hills of heaven.

A special thank-you to her amazing groomers at Pooch Pizzazz - they loved her dearly, and she never even needed an appointment. Gabby had true VIP privileges.

She will forever be in our hearts.

You can to the family or in memory of Gabriella Mackie.
