We are saddened to announce the passing of Fred “Jack” Barnett, who left this world on October 29, 2024, at the age of 75. Fred was born on October 15, in Oklahoma City, OK. Pre-deceased by Fred and Marion Barnett

Fred married the love of his life, “Lynn Marie “ as he would call her. in 2017 and together they traveled, enjoyed life with many friends whether it be in an RV or a day on the beach. They cruised the Rhine, as well as the Panama Canal and many Caribbean adventures. Yellowstone,Jackson Hole, and one of their favorites Belize.

Jack leaves a son and daughter Mark and Lisa, Kristina was pre-deceased in 2021. He is survived by a brother Mark and sister Kathleen as well as a half sister Kathryn Parkinson from Evansville, IN He leaves 2 grandsons, Kelsey and Kory, a predeceased grandson Dakota.

Throughout his life, Fred worked as an Aviation Mechanic, retiring in 2010, and dedicated his time to helping others at various Treatment Centers giving back which was so freely given to him.. He also served in the Marines as an E4 Lance Corporal in Viet Nam at the height of the conflict. .

When he wasn't working or serving his country, Fred enjoyed spending time with his family, pursuing his hobbies of model trains and cars, and creating lasting memories with those he cared about.

Fred will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and his unwavering commitment to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
