Lebanon, Ohio - Fred Payne, age 75, passed away on May 22, 2024, at Atrium Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 25, 1948, in Lebanon, Ohio.

Fred was a proud graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1967. After high school, he continued his education at Trade School and graduated in 1969. Fred went on to have a successful career at General Motors until his retirement in 1997.

Aside from his professional accomplishments, Fred was actively involved in the community. He was a dedicated member of the Cincinnati Old Timers organization and contributed his time to Kings Bar and Grill. Fred had a passion for sports, particularly basketball, boxing, and softball.

Fred was married to his beloved wife Rose for 50 years and together they raised three children: Rosetta Renee, Antoinette Marie, and Fredlitta Chevon "Peaches." He was also a loving grandfather to six granddaughters.

Fred will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
