Frank Stephen Sanchez, 46, a resident of Denver and former resident of Albuquerque and Las Vegas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. He was born on May 21, 1968 in Las Vegas to Frank and Joanne Ludi Sanchez. He graduated from Robertson High School in 1986. He was senior class president and a superb athlete. He excelled in football, baseball, basketball, golf, track, snow skiing, and water skiing. He received a bachelor of arts in finance from New Mexico Highlands University in 1991. Stephen was a mortgage broker and he owned a mortgage company for several years. Stephen was a very good friend to many and he would go out of his way to help others. Stephen was extremely proud of his children and his grandchild and he took great joy in watching them excel. He enjoyed daily walks, praying, and reading his Bible. Stephen was a lifelong Catholic and a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Denver. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Pina Ludi, Adelio and Lucy Sanchez, Joe Olivas; uncle, Wilfred Garcia. Survived by his children, Andreas (Sammy) Sanchez, Enrico Sanchez, and Isabella Sanchez; parents, Frank and Joanne Sanchez; siblings, W. Kenny (Darlene) Sanchez, and Jennifer E. Sanchez; granddaughter, Jennifer C. Sanchez; aunts and uncles, Rita Garcia, Leroy (Marcella) Sanchez, Clarence (Jocelyn) Sanchez, Josie (Robert) Larrañaga, Diane (Chris) Maes, Lori (Pete) Campos; great-aunts, Rose Valdez and Anna Marie (Richard) Archuleta; great-uncle, Louis (Rose) Olivas; two nieces and one nephew, Sherri, Christy, and Will Sanchez. Also survived by numerous family members and friends.
