Frank Lorain SavageCAMBRIDGE: Frank Lorain Savage age 79 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away August 28, 2014 at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 1, 1934 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Frank and Pearl (Sanborn) Savage. Also preceding him in death was his siblings Betty, Colleen, Patsy, Charles and Lyle Savage. In his youth he was a standout football player at Crooksville High. His passion for sports would lead him to be a high school football, basketball and baseball official for over a decade. He was an
Army veteran, entrepreneur and employed 18 years with Putnam Transfer of Zanesville. Additionally he was a skilled musician who especially enjoyed singing gospel hymns much to the enjoyment of all those around him. Frank is survived by his wife Marilyn (Neff) Savage of the home and whom he married on July 7, 1984; a daughter Crystal Savage of South Zanesville; three sons Craig Savage of Zanesville, John Samuel Savage of St. Petersburg, Florida and Rick Savage of South Zanesville; two step-daughters Joleen (Hutchison) Watkins of Marietta and Koreen Jill Hutchison of Zanesville; four grandchildren Sam Savage, Erica Savage, Benjamin Savage and Carl Watkins, two great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday August 30, 2014 with funeral services to follow at 3:00 at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.
