It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Straker, who was born on March 4, 1949, and peacefully left us on October 27, 2024, in Bridgetown, Saint Michael, Barbados.

Frank was a dedicated father to his two children, Debra Carter and Jackie Straker, and a loving grandfather to five grandchildren. He was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first.

Frank had a passion for farming and fishing, spending countless hours tending to his crops and enjoying the peacefulness of the sea. His green thumb was admired by all who knew him, and his love for the ocean was evident in his beaming smile whenever he was out on the water.

Despite facing challenges in his later years, Frank remained strong and determined. Unfortunately, his battle with lung cancer proved to be too much, and he succumbed to the illness surrounded by his loved ones.

Frank will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
