Frank F. Miller Obituary

Apr 06, 1964 - Dec 13, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Miller, who left us on December 13, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York. Born on April 6, 1964, to his loving parents Ralph and Charlotte Miller, Frank lived a colorful and vibrant life.

Frank leaves behind his devoted wife Lydia Miller, with whom he shared many happy years. He was a beloved father to Vermaris, Mercedes, Frank Jr, Shaquanna and a proud grandfather to five adoring grandchildren. (Mason, Samira, Zamir, Jayden, Zendaya)

Frank was raised in Fort Greene with his four siblings, Sheila, Ralph, Juanita and Cindo. Frank was the baby of the bunch. A graduate of Dyker Heights High School, Class of 1981, where he was known for his quick wit and infectious smile. Later on attending Automotive trade school for a trade for mechanics. He went on to work at the NYC Department of Transportation, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2022.

Aside from his work, Frank had a passion for cars. He could often be found at Geraldo’s, working on his latest project or taking a spin around the neighborhood in his favorite ride. His love for cars was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends.

Frank was a dedicated “FAMILY MAN” he incorporated his family into everything. You could count his endless midnight trips to Walmart, spending most of his time with his wife and grandson Mason, he loved taking his daughter and niece for manicures and pedicures when he wasn’t playing with one of his cars. Frank enjoyed going out to eat Red Lobster, Long Horn, and Olive Garden was his favorite restaurants. He enjoyed relaxing, a good western and a phone call was all he needed. But if he knew nothing he did know a good song, you can count on him to drive up with a song and a smile. Not to mention that top down !

Although Frank may no longer be with us, his memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We will always remember his laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering devotion to those he held dear.

Rest in peace, Frank. We will miss you dearly.
