Frank Bossy Barca1917 - 2013 Frank Bossy Barca, 96, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, at the Hospice Alliance - Hospice House with his family by his side. Frank was born on May 26, 1917, in Kenosha to Alex and Philamina (Molaro) Barca and he was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He joined the U.S. Army in 1945 and served in World War II until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was employed with Principe Plumbers for 15 years and worked as a pipe fitter at AMC for 17 years until his retirement in 1979. Frank married Bette Lou Thiel on Aug. 14, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio. Frank was a member of the Moose Lodge #286 since July 28, 1979. He was a former Moose governor and had reached the highest levels of legion, fellow and the highest level of Pilgrim in 1995. Frank, since his youth enjoyed watching and participating in many sports activities. In his later years he especially enjoyed golf and shooting pool well into his 90s and was a pool champion at the Moose Lodge. Frank was also an avid cook and was known best for his spaghetti sauce. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Theresa Falcone and Angeline Pellegrino and his brother, Edward Barca.Frank is survived by his wife, Bette Lou Barca of Kenosha; seven children, Alex Barca of Kenosha, Jean (Louis) Schultz of Rotonda West, FL, Robin (Mark) Allen of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Blake (Fiance;, Tracie) Thiel of Swanton, Ohio, Richard (Lynn) Thiel of Kenosha, Andrew (Heather) Thiel of Eau Claire and Matthew (Elaine) Thiel of Uniontown, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; mother of Alex and Jean, Josephine Barca of Kenosha; devoted nephew, Peter Barca; devoted daughter-in-law, Dorothy Barca as well as other family and many friends.Funeral services for Frank will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
