Frances E. FettersMason, MIFrances E. Fetters was born on May 27, 1926 in Oxford, MI, the daughter of Frank Clarence and Florence Cordelia (St. John) Lynk, and passed away August 16, 2017 at the age of 91. Frances attended Oxford High School during WWII and graduated in 1945. She played clarinet in high school band, attended Lansing Business University and worked for the State of Michigan in the departments of budget and highway. Frances enjoyed living at the farm with her husband John H. Fetters and remodeling her farmhouse. She spent several decades working with the youth at Eden United Brethren Church, serving in various roles as a lay leader, music teacher and director. She was also a lay minister at the Plymouth Congregation Church. Frances loved looking at and buying antiques, especially dolls.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon H. Fetters; one sister, Margery Florence (Lynk) Lippincott. Surviving to cherish her memory, one daughter, Alix (Fetters) Jenkins; one grandson, David (Pamela) Jenkins; and great grandson, Christopher Jenkins.Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI with visitation one hour prior to the service. Milan Maybee will be officiating. For those desiring, contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W.
