Floyd L. Jolliffe, age 84, of Rome, WI died on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Feldner/ Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa, WI. Pastor Bill Fischer will officiate, burial will take place at the Glen View Cemetery in Glen Flora at a later date. ritchayfuneralhome.com. Floyd was born on January 6, 1932 in Whitewater, Wisconsin to Floyd and Bernice (Hanson) Jolliffe. He married Hazel Nelson on June 15, 1957. Floyd received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He taught Industrial Arts in Arlington Heights, Illinois and in Mount Prospect, Illinois for 32 years, retiring to Lake Camelot in 1999. Floyd was a master woodworker and builder. His talents included making stain glass items and, most recently, barn quilts. His lawn and gardens reflected another passion. Floyd is survived by his wife Hazel; three sons, Tim (Sandy) Jolliffe, Eagan, Minnesota, Scott (Tanya) Jolliffe, West Chester, Ohio, Bob Jolliffe, Medford, Wisconsin; grandchildren Chelsea (Adam) Holmes, Miamisburg, Ohio, Aaron Jolliffe, West Chester, Ohio, Alyssa and Logan Jolliffe, Eagan, Minnesota. He is also survived by his sister Muriel of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle; and brother Russell. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be designated to the ALS Foundation or the Lakes Area Christian Fellowship.
