Floyd Joseph LeBlanc, Jr.Lake Charles, LA - Floyd Joseph LeBlanc, Jr., passed away in his wife's arms on Friday, August 4, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. He was 60.Floyd was born on September 16, 1956, and grew up in Lafayette. He moved to Lake Charles many years ago where he owned and operated his own construction company.He is survived by his mother, Joyce Chauffe LeBlanc; his dedicated wife, Deborah Soileau Hicks LeBlanc and her children, Beau James Hicks and his wife Jennifer Law Hicks, Jessi Ann Hicks and her wife Nidya Delgado Hicks; his own children: Emily Kate LeBlanc Ardoin and her husband Clay Ardoin, Wade Matthew LeBlanc and his wife Natalie Perioux LeBlanc.Floyd is also survived by his grandchildren: Anna Grace Waldrop, Olivia Marie Ardoin, Isabella Grace Ardoin, Jackson Matthew LeBlanc, Eli Thomas LeBlanc, Abigail Claire Vanicor, Tyler James Hicks and Parker Law Hicks. Floyd also leaves five sisters: Cindy LeBlanc McCleary, Katie LeBlanc Trahan, Nanette LeBlanc Lewis, Brenda LeBlanc Feinswog, and Lisa LeBlanc Eagle.He will be remembered fondly by his many friends as well as all of those in his extended family, including many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Joseph LeBlanc, Sr., his half brother, Thomas M. LeBlanc and infant daughter, Erica Kristen LeBlanc.The family would like to express their most sincere appreciation to the dedicated staff of Harbor Hospice for the love and support and also caring attention given by Kim Echerd and his sitter, Ms. Pat.In keeping with Floyd's wishes, there will be no funeral services but rather a "Celebration of Life" for family and friends to be announced at a later date.
