On February 10, 2026, Florence Hicks of Franklinton, North Carolina, passed away at the age of 83. Florence was born on May 20, 1942, and lived a full and joyful life.

Florence had a passion for cooking and was known for her delicious meals that brought friends and family together. She could always be found in the kitchen, whipping up her famous recipes with love and care.

She leaves behind a legacy of three children: Michael Hicks Sr, Steve Hicks, and Peggy Whitford. She also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren.
