On November 23, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul in Greensboro, North Carolina. Fledia Barnes, born on April 2, 1966, brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
Fledia was the loving mother of Devan (spouse Shameka Cotton) and Lamont. She adored her two grandchildren and always had a smile on her face when she was with them. Also leaving behind her youngest brother Darrell and her favorite niece Kaela Barnes.
Throughout her life, Fledia spread happiness wherever she went. Her infectious laughter and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in knowing that Fledia is now at peace. May her memory bring smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts for years to come.
