Eufemia "Feme" C. Diaz Eufemia "Feme" C. Diaz, 65, passed away October 21, 2017 with her family by her side at UW Medical in Seattle, WA. A viewing will be held on November 2, 2017 from 3pm-7pm at Woodlawn Funeral home in Lacey, WA. Her Memorial service will be on November 3, 2017 at 9am at Sacred Heart Church in Lacey, WA. She was born on September 16, 1951 in Batangas City, Philippines. After graduating college she was recruited to come to the U.S. as a nurse in 1974. She lived in San Antonio, TX where she met her husband of 40 years Rodolfo Diaz. In 1978, Rodolfo was in the Army and was re-assigned moving them to Washington, where they would later call home and raise their family. Feme was a nurse at St. Peter's Hospital for 36 year before retiring. She loved her job and was proud of what she did. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She devoted her life to her family. She was generous, kind, and had a big heart. Her smile and laughter could light up a room. Eufemia C. Diaz is survived by her mother, Maria Culla; husband, Rodolfo Diaz; 2 kids, Ryan Diaz and Marie Cooper and spouse John Cooper; 5 grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Bella, Lyla, and Mila; and 11 siblings.
