It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fatima Williams, beloved mother, grandmother, and educator. Fatima was born on June 8, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia to her loving parents DeWayne King and Shirley Williams.

Fatima leaves behind her three devoted children, Denard King (Tracy King), Barbara Mellows (Richard Mellows), and Fredrick King. She was a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Fatima dedicated herself to education, working at Sara Rawson Smith Elementary until her retirement in 2004. She was a passionate advocate for her community, volunteering with the United Way 211 organization.
