Eusebio "Chevo" MiramontezAbilene , TXEusebio Miramontez, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Abilene, Texas. Prayer service will be 7:00PM Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US Highway 277 South. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Ambler Baptist Church, 2150 Park Ave. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.Eusebio was born on January 19, 1929 in New Braunfels, Texas to Eusebio Sr. and Juanita Miramontez. He married his sweetheart Carmen Martinez in 1950. He worked as a butcher for Gooch Meat Packing Company for 25 years. After his retirement from Gooch he began a 14 year custodian position for AISD. Eusebio was a member of Ambler Baptist Church where he also served as the custodian. He enjoyed the outdoors and working in the yard. He also found enjoyment in attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Eusebio was preceded in death by his parents, Eusebio Miramontez Sr. and Juanita Sanchez Miramontez his brothers, Victor Miramontez; Miguel Miramontez; Ignacio Miramontez; his sisters, Clemencia Reyes and Juanita Trejo. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Miramontez; his son, Eusebio Miramontez Jr (Jessica); his daughters, Estela Miramontez; his son, Rudy Miramontez (Wanda); his daughter, Nina Miramontez Deanda (Andy); his sister, Clara Gonzales; 3 grandsons; 9 granddaughters; and 21 great grandchildren.
