Euguena Marie Lanzaro, age 97 of East Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on Sunday morning September 30th, 2018. She was surrounded by her daughter and great-grandchildren as she slept into passing.
She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, Euguena was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. For many years leading up to her passing, she collected a large library of cookbooks and first edition novels from around the world. She loved to watch food tutorials and cooking channels during her spare time.
She was diagnosed with onset dementia March 2018 and a regional spread of breast cancer that she has been fighting since August 2016.
Euguena is survived by her husband, her oldest daughter Constance Lima-Gonzalez, as well as her younger sons Richard Marcano, Joseph Lanzaro, and her 5 grandchildren David Montoto, Francis Lima, Amethyst Lima, Haley Lanzaro and Michael Lanzaro; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
Euguena requested for an cremation and be spread over the ocean. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
