ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Eugene C. Wardynski was born on February 11, 1923 in La Salle, Illinois to Frank and Josephine Wardynski. He died Monday, October 10, 2016 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Gene worked as a merchandiser for Montgomery Wards and Land's End, before his retirement. He was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church. Eugene is survived by his wife of 68 years, Theresa; his children Kristi (Bill) Carroll, Michael Wardynski, and Casey Wardynski; his grandchildren Casey (Katie) Wardynski, Jennifer Wardynski, Christian (Jacquelyn) Wardynski, Katie (Steve) Fontanetta, and Matthew Carroll; his great-grandson, Jack Wardynski; his sister, Marge Krohn; and sisters-in-law Ardis Wardynski and Joanne Wardynski; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Wardynski and Richard Wardynski; his daughter-in-law Sue Wardynski; brother-in-law Dick Krohn; and his parents.
