On March 12, 2025, the world lost a true force of nature with the passing of Ethel Aikens in Newport News, Virginia. Born on September 9, 1937, Ethel lived a life filled with laughter, love, and endless adventures.
Throughout her years, Ethel was known for her wit, charm, and unwavering positivity. Whether she was cracking jokes with friends or exploring new hobbies, she always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
One of Ethel's greatest joys in life was being a mother to her 8 children. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, instilling in each of them the values of kindness, compassion, and perseverance. Her children will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved mother.
Ethel had a zest for life that was truly contagious. She could often be found dancing to her favorite tunes, trying her hand at new recipes in the kitchen, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Although Ethel's physical presence may be gone, her legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine brightly. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever bring joy to those whose lives she touched.
