Ernie Martin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2024, in McDaniels, Kentucky, United States. He was born on March 2, 1949, to Delbert and Ann Martin.

Ernie was married to his loving wife, Donna Martin, for 57 years. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Tammy Martin and Tinna Jones. Ernie was a devoted father who always put his family first.

Ernie had a successful career at General Electric, where he worked tirelessly until his retirement in 2003. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and friendly demeanor among his colleagues.

Outside of work, Ernie had a number of hobbies that brought him joy. He loved spending time with his wife, enjoying the beach and taking rides on his golf cart. Fishing was also a favorite pastime of his, and he could often be found on the lake, surrounded by nature.

Ernie was adored by his five grandchildren Heather (JR), Nikki, Moe, Billy(Ashley),and Dalton. He also has 6 great-grandchildren Jason, Hope, Caitlin, Aubreigh, Haley, and Samantha. They brought him immense happiness throughout his life. He was a caring and devoted grandfather who cherished every moment he spent with them.

Bingo his beloved canine companion will greatly miss him.

Known as "The Mayor Of Holiday Beach" Ernie has many who will have everlasting memories to cherish.

Ernie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family will always be remembered.
