Ernest Franklin (Ernie) Willmon, 67, of Clifton, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Goodall-Witcher Hospital. Ernest was born on August 18, 1949, to Warren Lee Willmon and Donna Lou (Watson) Willmon in Kermit, Texas. After serving in the United States Army for a brief period of time, Ernie (as he was fondly called by all who knew him) was proud to have worked security for almost 30 years at the David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport in northwest Harris County. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) Williams, of Clifton, Texas, and his sister Belinda and her husband, Dr. Jerry Simpson, of Kingwood, Texas, and numerous other family members and friends. A service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the Veterans Administration Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive in northwest Houston, Texas.
