Erlinda Rosal CayetanoOct. 5, 1937 - Oct. 29, 2016SalinasErlinda Rosal Cayetano, 79, of Salinas, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was born on October 5, 1937 in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.She came to the states in the early 1960's and soon married Bonnie Cayetano and had a family. They had one son, Clifford and one daughter, Mary, who unfortunately died soon after birth. She stayed in Salinas through all her years. She worked for Security Pacific Bank for a number of years and then for the U.S. Government Department of Defense at Fort Ord and then finally the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. After retiring, she just enjoyed being a mother, grandma, sister, auntie and friend and she never stopped helping others whenever she could, even until the very end. She will be sorely missed.
