Elton "Bud" Glen CrawfordTAFT, CAElton Glen Crawford, 61, Better known to all as "Bud", was called home to be with his heavenly Father, on January 13, 2016, at Taft CA.Bud was born on January 13, 1955, at Lamesa, TX, to Luther G. and Ruby Mae Crawford. He was a 1973 graduate of Abilene High School.Bud moved to Taft, CA. 26 years ago and there he worked as an oil field and pipeline welder until his retirement, due to health conditions. Bud was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church.Bud was preceded in death by his father, paternal and maternal grandparents. Bud is survived by three children, Randy Crawford and wife Rachelle of Norwood, CO, Chasity Brune of Montrose, CO, and Cody Crawford of AR. His mother, Ruby Evans of Albany, TX and sisters, Teresa Camacho and husband Jesse of Albany, TX and Anita Jackson and husband Roger of Texarkana, AR. Bud had five grandchildren. Bud was loved by four nephews, Michael, Kerry, Kevin, and Jeffrey, and several cousins. Also, his very best friend, Mark Belcher of Taft, CA. We are eternally grateful for him caring for my brother and being a "brother" to him.Bud's passions in life were hunting, playing the guitar, and enjoying fellowship with his many friends. Bud will be missed and loved by many.Bud will be buried at the Lutheran cemetery in Albany, TX. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
