Eloise M. NicholasFREMONT: Eloise M. Nicholas, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 5, 2016 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Fremont, OH. She was born on April 24, 1927 in Fremont, OH to Ruben and Pearl (Chapman) Hawk.She married Donald "Nick the Greek" Nicholas, Sr. on June 10, 1950 at St. Ann Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2009. She was a homemaker and a seasonal worker at H.J. Heinz for several years.Eloise was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and St. Francis Junior Guild. She enjoyed playing cards and gardening. Eloise is survived by her children, Sherry Nicholas, Jim (Wanda) Nicholas, Jerry Nicholas, Sandy (Dave) May all of Fremont and Donald "Nick" Nicholas, Jr of Put-In-Bay, OH; grandchildren, Ron McComas, Jr., Cara Good, Jim (Dawn) Higgins, Shantel Laird, Cora Minich, Nicole Pfeiffer, Micheal May, Matthew and Grant Nicholas; eleven great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and caregivers, Mary Jean Hertzer and Anita Geller.The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Elmwood Nursing Home.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Nicholas; sisters, Audrey Hawk, Myrtle Hergesheimer and twin sister, Eleanor Schiets.Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2016; 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1011 W.
