My first thought when I met Buggy was, finally, someone as short as me! I actually told him that and from that day on, I was known as shitbird or shitbaby! He always made me laugh and always tried to help me understand alot of things that were beyond my control. He was small in stature but had the biggest heart. I will miss your smile and your dance moves Buggy! Rest peacefully now until we meet again.

Elmer “Buggy” Wright, of Ripley, Tennessee, passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 70. He was born on September 11, 1954.
Buggy was known for his love of life and infectious sense of humor. He always had a joke ready to make you smile and a helping hand to offer to anyone in need.
He lived a full and adventurous life with wife, Samantha Golden Wright, whom he married in 1980. “Buggy” had 6 wonderful children: Kevin Wright and wife, Kami Wright , Douglas Wright and wife Tonya Wright, Ashley Wright and wife Kimberly Wright, Amy Ward and partner Bobby Ward, and Teresa Wright, Janice Jackson
Buggy adored his 19 grandchildren, Conner Wright, Ashlyn Wright, Briana Wright, Bayleigh Wright, Veroka Wright, A.J. Wright JR, Trinity Wright, Maggie Wright, Bobby Wright, Barbara Rodenhouser, Mason Joyner, Kayla Scott, Dylon Sealand, Alexis Jackson, Dylan Akers, Brenda Akers, William Akers, Dj Ray. and loved nothing more than spending time with them, teaching them valuable life lessons and spoiling them rotten. Following with 10 Great Grandchildren, Alivia Moyer, Lucas Moyer, Reagan Brooke Duvall, Hudson Duvall, Jackson Sealand, River Sealand, Analeigh Rodenhouser, Miles Joyner, Cooper Roberson, River Wade. that he loved dearly.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering sense of loyalty, and his ability to brighten any room he entered. Buggy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
