Elizabeth Garcia, lovingly known as Liz, passed away on May 31, 2023, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born on May 16, 1991, to her parents Ramon Garcia and Sarah Rooney.

Liz was a devoted partner to Michael Hawes and a dedicated mother to her four children: Jay Garcia, Kiana Hawes, Carmel Hawes, and Michael Hawes II. She also has three surviving sisters Jadzia Weinberg, Melissa Garcia and Savannah Garcia. She took great pride in her family and always put them first.

She attended Comstock High School and later worked at Wendy's, where she was known for her friendly smile and exceptional customer service. Liz always had a way of brightening up everyone's day.

Shes preceded in death by our grandmother Mary Rooney. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Let's remember Liz for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family.
