This obituary is administered by:
TAYLOR, Elizabeth Priscilla1920 - 2016Elizabeth Priscilla Taylor (nee Beamish) passed away peacefully at her residence on October 29, 2016. Elizabeth was born on July 8, 1920 in Palmerston, Ontario, the eldest of six children of Eva Priscilla Beamish (nee Spice) and Esmond Clarence Beamish. She will be sadly missed by her stepchildren Wayne Taylor, Janet Wells and Michael Taylor, her special niece and nephew Lauri and Bill Beamish, her sisters Vera Gower and Catherine Lord, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was predeceased in 2010 by her husband of forty-one years Croft Barye Taylor. She was also predeceased by her sisters Dorothea Zochodne and Grace Wood and her brother William Beamish. Elizabeth had a full career as a Registered Nurse, nursing in Toronto for many years and retiring from the Carleton Lodge in Ottawa. Respecting Elizabeth's wishes, a private family funeral will be held at the National Military Cemetery at Beechwood Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her beloved Croft. Elizabeth was a great lover of animals, particularly her miniature schnauzer dogs. She also loved birds, especially owls. In memory of Elizabeth, donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
