Elizabeth Betty Dizney, age 82, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 21, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Alden and Doris (Ripley) Turner. Betty was born on July 21, 1934 in Weymouth. She was a graduate of Whitman High School, Class of 1951. She has been a resident of Walpole for the past sixty years. Betty was a retired respite care provider for South Norfolk County Association for Retarded Citizens and ARCof Attleboro and also worked for the Kennedy- Donovan Center in Foxborough. She was a longtime member of the Union Church of South Foxborough. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She taught Sunday School for children and helped at VBS until her final week, and was loved by the children. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Dizney. Loving mother of David Dizney of TX, Stephen Dizney of N. Attleboro, Brian Dizney of Foxborough, Philip Dizney of Foxborough and Alan Dizney of ME. Also survived by seven loving grandchildren and one great grandchild. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 30 from 9 to 11 AM at the Union Church of South Foxborough, 384 South Street.
