Elizabeth Ann Weathers passed away peacefully at her home in Atlanta, Georgia on July 29, 2017, at the age of 65, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Ann was born on July 16, 1952 to Robert Lewis Weathers and Gertrude Richards Weathers. She graduated from Dykes High School in 1970. She attended Auburn University and later, The University of Georgia, and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines and later, an auditor for Days Inn, Inc. She was a lifetime member of Wieuca Road Baptist Church and also was in a Bible study group at Northside United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Capital City Club. Ann quietly devoted herself to various causes, including Young Life, Susan G. Komen Foundation and United Cerebral Palsy. Ann was a devoted daughter, loving mother, and precious sister who adored all her nieces and nephews. She was a humble and generous woman who showered her family and friends with love and support. Her dignity and grace throughout her life and her bravery fighting a lengthy battle with breast cancer were an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Ann's passions were travel, music, tennis, the outdoors, and Georgia Tech Football. Ann's adventurous spirit was contagious and her example of a life well lived was a lesson to us all. Ann found the love of her life in David Tenenbaum, and their devotion to each other was obvious to all who knew them. Theirs is a beautiful love story, which enriched both David's and Ann's family and friends. Ann is preceded in death by her son, Scott Weathers Rosenberg and her father, Robert Lewis Weathers. Ann was a devoted mother to Scott and her ability to handle her grief at his loss was another example of her faith, strength and dignity. Ann is survived by her mother, Gertrude Richards Weathers of Atlanta; her siblings, Robert Lewis Weathers (Cissy) of Columbus, GA, William Jennings Weathers (Helen) of Atlanta, and Laura Weathers Brooks (Bill) of Tampa; her nieces and nephews, Robert Lewis Weathers, III (Laura), Kench Lott Weathers, Claire Weathers Herndon (Jamie), Laura Weathers Miller (Barry), William Pearson Brooks, Ashley Elizabeth Brooks, Garrett Weathers Brooks; and several great nieces and nephews.
