We mourn the passing of Edward Brewton, born on November 14, 1948, in Ruston, Louisiana, United States, to the late Howard Patrick Brewton and Lola (Lossy) Brewton. He passed away on November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Edward was a devoted husband to Mary Mathews Brewton, whom he married in 1976. Together, they had three children: Robert Samuel Brewton (spouse Connie Brewton), Michael C. Brewton (spouse Tawla Brewton), and Elizabeth Brewton (spouse Milford Box). He was also a loving grandfather to two grandchildren; Leigh Collins and Stacie Boyens.

Edward attended Huntington High School and went on to further his studies at LSU. He also proudly served in the US Army, dedicating his life to serving his country.

Edward will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
