OKOLISH, Edward Michael Age 75, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Ed was born on November 20, 1941 in Barberton, OH to Anthony and Mary Okolish. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Education from Ohio University. Ed served in the United States Army and retired from the United States Post Office after 30 years. He practiced yoga and tai-chi and loved to play the accordion. Ed also found joy working in his garden at home. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia Okolish; son, Alex (Jiajun) Okolish; granddaughter, Anna; brother, Bob (Carrie) Okolish; sister, Marie (Mike) Cunningham; sister-in-law Pam (Randy) Arnold; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Tsai and the staff at Kettering Hospital for all their care and compassion. Private services will be held.
