It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Major, aged 75, who departed this life peacefully on April 25th, 2025, in Nassau, Bahamas.

A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend, Edward was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. Born and raised in the Bahamas, he spent his life contributing to the island he loved—through his work, his wisdom, and his generous spirit.

Edward is lovingly remembered by his wife Altamise Major; his children Edvadio, Edvena, and Edroy Major; and his grandchildren Jaylen, Amari, Tavaria, Masen, and Ava, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends who were blessed to know him.

A memorial service will be held in Nassau. Further details will be shared with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
