Edward Powell, a beloved resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 67. He was born on November 12, 1956, in Montgomery, where he spent his entire life.

Edward was a graduate of G.W Carver High School, where he excelled academically and made lifelong friends. After graduating in 1974, he went on to pursue a successful career and raise a beautiful family with his wife, Barbara Powell, whom he married in 1980.

Edward was a devoted husband and father to his three children, Edward Powell Jr, Edward Powell lll, and Cornelius Powell. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, whom he adored immensely.

Throughout his life, Edward had a passion for hunting. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and teaching his children and grandchildren the art of hunting. Edward's love for the outdoors was evident in all aspects of his life, and he cherished every moment spent in the wild.

On March 1, 2024, Edward peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer. His strength, courage, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity served as an inspiration to all who knew him. Edward will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
