Edward Buhrman, beloved father, and grandfather, passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 72 in Rockford, Illinois. He was born on August 30, 1951 in Baltimore City, Maryland.
Ed is survived by his four children, Heather Poulter (Justin), Summer Doss (Willie), Chelsea Rawhoof (Brice), and Carly Buhrman (Ian Swick). Eddie was also a proud papa to five grandchildren, Lukais, Tanner, Laurel, Camden, and Briar. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard (Stasi), Steven (Sharon), and Robert (Sallie) along with many nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Edgar.
Ed graduated from Harlem High School and later in life he went on to Rockford college and completed his Bachelor's degree. He worked hard to further his education while growing his family and providing for them. He continued to work in the banking industry throughout his life and was devoted to his clients and created great relationships with colleagues. Eddie loved to go out with friends, watch and play golf, clean his pool, and watch reality TV and The Office with his girls. He showed up for all the concerts, dances, games, etc. that his kids and grand kids were in.
Eddie was meant to be a girl dad. His daughters could not get enough of his unique laugh and warm smile that was so big it made his eyes disappear. He always had a comb ready to make sure his hair wasn't out of place and never passed up a snack. If you gave him some seafood he would go to town and wanted to teach everyone around him how to properly crack a crab. He will be missed beyond measure.
