Edward John Correa, a strange unknowable man the kind we will not see again in this lifetime, passed away on June 9th.
Edward, Aka John Cantor, was the kind of person who knew that life is a currency, it only has value if you spend it. He had traveled for most of his life, living a gypsy existence of non-attachment. In his thirties, he had a divine experience that revealed to him that he was a prophet of God. He devoted his remaining years to spreading the living word of his faith.
Though he tried to live without attachment to others, in the end, he passed while in the company of his friend Athene and his once estranged son Ed. He will be missed dearly by all of those who knew him.
He is survived by his three sisters: Mary Correa, Judy Moore, Lisa Keith, and his son Edward J. Boswell-Correa.
Per his request, he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at Clinton Dam whenever the capitalist vultures who own funeral homes come down on their egregious pricing.
I will end with a quote:
“Our lives are not our own. We are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” Ed Correa was a man who spent many years trying to disprove that statement, and in the end, he failed. He is loved, he is known, and he will be missed.
You can to the family or in memory of Edward Correa.
