Jagodzinski, EdwardEdward Jagodzinski of Riverside, CT passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Greenwich Hospital at the age of 92. He was born on April 2, 1924 to the late Michael and Catherine Jagodzinski and was a lifelong resident of Old Greenwich and Riverside. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Audrey; his five sons, Edward (Lynn), Michael (Susan), Joseph, Jimmy (Maryann), and Mark (Heather). He was the beloved grandfather of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Edward is also survived by his brother, Ben and sister, Jean Kulbieda. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Walter, and William, and his sisters Helen and Stella Millne. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1943 to 1946 as a Parachute Rigger Third Class and was later stationed in Guam. After his term of service, he was employed by Smith's Furniture for 20 years before beginning his own career as a master upholsterer. He was an avid fan at his grandchildren's sporting events and dance recitals and loved spending his retired years at Tod's Point. To honor his life, family and friends will gather on Friday, November 25th from 4pm to 8pm at the Bosak Funeral Home at 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford, CT. A memorial service will also be held at 11am on Saturday, November 26th at the funeral home.
