Edward C. Williams, 90, of Woodville, VA passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Culpeper Health and Rehab Center. He was born November 6, 1933 in Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Madeline Williams.  

Edward served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era. He had many interests and hobbies, was a devout catholic and an avid reader. He loved animals and raised horses, show chickens, rabbits, carrier pigeons and a few beloved cats and dogs on his farm in Woodville.  

Edward is survived by his son, Gregory Bruce Heckman and wife Michele. The family thanks his reliable caregivers, Jennifer Walker and Dondre Trice, the Sheriff's Department for their watchfulness over Edward, as well as the weekly visits by Father Beres.  

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA, with Father Beres officiating. Military Honors will be held by VFW Post 2524.
