With great sadness, the family of Edith Banister announced her passing on Wednesday April 26, 2017. She was 77 years of age.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Banister and son, Frank Banister. She is survived by two sisters, Gerry Rigdon and June Gill; three children:Tammy Bates (Bill), Gregory Banister, Cyndi G. Durning (Jim). Edith is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great-grand children.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 at 9:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Michigan City, Indiana with Pastors Mark Reshan and James Stuck officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
