Eddie Smith, beloved husband, father, and forklift operator, passed away on November 18, 2025, surrounded by his family in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on July 15, 1984, to Albert and Gladys Willis Smith.

Eddie married his high school sweetheart, Laquanda Smith, in 2016, and together they raised a beautiful family. He is survived by his four children, Anquandra, Miracle, Malachi, and Cardeyah, who never failed to bring a smile to his face (and sometimes a headache).

Some may have known Eddie as the hardworking man at Honey Baked Ham, but those who truly knew him would understand that his real passwas smoking weed and cracking jokes. He had a knack for making everyone around him laugh, even if his puns were a bit cheesy.

Eddie will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his five precious grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please honor Eddie's memory by sharing a funny story or telling a joke in his name.
