Earnest Irving, a longtime resident of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024, at the age of 79. He was born on July 16 1945, in Mount Bayou, Mississippi. Earnest leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. Earnest was known for his kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need as a local mechanic. These skills he learned while serving in the military at the age of 18. He was a pillar of the community, always ready to offer a listening ear and a word of encouragement. Earnest will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy lives on through his 3 beautiful daughters Ivy (Derrick), Tanya(John ), Paulette (Kurt). As well as two granddaughters Ciera And Mariah. Proceeds in death his Claudia Irving.
