Earl A. Warner, age 76, of Oscoda passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on Jan. 27, 1934, in Detroit to Grace and Grant Warner. Earl joined the Army after graduating from high school. He was later employed with Lucent Technologies for 30 years. Earl loved hunting and fishing, but his real passion was playing pool. He played for many years at Desi's. Earl is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ramona; his brother, Dennis of Roscommon; seven children, Charles, Ronald, Carol Sivrais, Terri and Richard, all of Oscoda, Sue Mullen of Texas and Laura Mayer of Georgia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Michael of Kansas, Tina of Florida, Lisa, Nikki, Jerry and Michael of Texas, Elizabeth, Paul, Sean and David of Oscoda, Keith of Saginaw and Heather of Midland; and eight great-grandchildren. To honor his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Eagles Club in Oscoda on Saturday, March 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
