Duane A. "Doo" Ferguson was born July 17, 1988 to Duane Ferguson and June Henderson. Doo was the younger of three children born to Duane and June. Doo accepted Christ at an early age, attended St. Margaret of Scotland and Morgan Park before transferring to Warren Central High School. He attended I.U.P.U.I. Full of energy, he learned to walk, talk, read and ride his bike much sooner than his friends. After riding his bike for two weeks he decided that he had enough of it because he felt like he was ready to drive like his Dad. Doo spent a year in the Army but we knew that it was too structured for such a free spirit. It was during this time he met his first love Melissa and their union was blessed with Duane Jr. He loved being a father and spending his time working on his father’s old Corvettes as a hobby which eventually transitioned his love of bikes. He loved everything about cars, bikes and the lifestyle that went with them. He was a master of most things on wheels. His energetic and lively personality enabled him to bridge the generation gap. He had friends from 8 to 80. Doo left the earth doing what he loved. He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, June Henderson and Duane Ferguson; son, Duane Ferguson, Jr.; siblings: Keenan Ferguson, Nakia and Denitra and a host of extended family and friends.
