Douglas Bruns, beloved resident of Jerseyville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1962.

Douglas was a devoted father to his two children, Jeffrey (spouse Cassie) and Julie. He proudly served in the Marines.

In his free time, Douglas enjoyed spending quality time with his family and had a special love for animals, particularly dogs.

Douglas will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and his dedication to his country.
