It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorthey Harrell, who left us on January 17, 2025. Born on March 5, 1937, in Bastrop, Texas, Dorthey was the beloved daughter of Edward and Euline Harrell.

Dorthey is survived by her two children, Teresa Harrell and Kenneth Harrell, and she adored her three grandchildren. She especially cherished spending time with her grandkids, Ronesha and Dereck Jackson, and they brought immense joy to her life.

Dorthey had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. She had a great sense of humor and could always make those around her laugh. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking delicious meals, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Dorthey passed away peacefully from natural causes. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
