Dorothy Smoot Fellers, 91, of Goode, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. She was born on Oct. 23, 1925, a daughter of the late Edna McDaniel Smoot and Milton Jordan Smoot. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Calvin Fellers. She was a retired employee of Griffin Pipe. She is survived by her son, Peter M. Fellers (Carolyn) of Goode; granddaughter, Lori Myrtle (Tony) of Staunton; grandson, Brandon Fellers (fiancée Kristen Sempeles) of Virginia Beach; step-grandsons, Robbie Wilson (Stephanie) of Copper Hill, David Wilson (Leslie) of Bedford; great-grandson, Jeremiah Jenkins of Staunton; step-grandchildren, Dyllon, Faith, and Shane Wilson of Copper Hill, Hunter and Selena Wilson of Bedford. A graveside service was held 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at Virginia Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
