Aug. 28, 1928-Nov. 25, 2016Ms. Dorothy Nell Whitmire, age 88, of Chicopee passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016.Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Hicks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.Ms. Whitmire was born on Aug. 28, 1928, in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Dee Whitmire and Lois McGee Whitmire. She was of the Holiness Faith and retired from AT&T.
